For the last 20 years, graphic design has been my career, my business, and in many ways, the lens through which I’ve viewed the world. I’ve watched the industry evolve from print-focused workflows to social media, content creation, branding, AI, and everything in between. Along the way, I’ve learned that being a successful graphic designer isn’t just about creating beautiful work. It’s about understanding people, communicating ideas clearly, adapting to change, and learning how design influences behaviour, trust, and decision-making.
In this video, I’m sharing the biggest lessons I’ve learned from two decades in the design industry.
