Designing a website can be a long process, but it doesn’t have to be. It really comes down with what you want to achieve with the website.

If you’re just showcasing your product or service, then it doesn’t need to be a large, arduous process. Whereas, if this is a key part of the service you are offering, and it’s a platform you are building online, then it can be a big project so it does depend on what you are building.

Step 1: The biggest key to having a successful website is to have a detailed spec.
Step 2: Wireframes help you understand the content thats going to be on that page, the structure, the user flow, and how the sites going to work without the glossy finish of the design.
Step 3: The look and feel is personal to the business, the brand values need to be clear otherwise the design can go completely wrong.
Step 4: The development stage is simply where you make the design come to life.
Step 5: There’s testing to see: if a feature of the spec works, usability testing, also improving.
Step 6: Launch!
