In part 3 of The Web Design Process, I show you how to do research for the design of a website. It’s important to know the positioning of the product or service you are creating a site for. It’s equally important to know what other sites are doing who are positioned similarly in that vertical (i.e., the competition).
I show you how to do a web search for sites using the same keywords where users will mostly likely find the site you’re designing. Then I’ll show you how to capture those site designs (your competitors) at different viewport sizes. We will use these as references for our wireframes.
