How I got here:
18: Skipped university. Took a corporate job as an auditor.
19: Built my first business running nightclub events in Manchesterâs rave scene.
20: Started selling graphics after venues wanted the same designs I made for my own events.
21: Liquidated my events business after the post-COVID crash. Went all in on design. Made my first ÂŁ20,000 month (~$25,000). Quit my 9â5 as an accountant.
22: Worked with global brands like Zara, Jack Wills, and JĂ€germeister. Landed sponsorships with Adobe, Framer, and Formula One.
Today: My agency makes ÂŁ15,000âÂŁ45,000 a month from identity projects, with ongoing retainers for companies like Whop.
To every designer trying to build an agency: youâre writing your own story. The bigger the challenges, the bigger the outcome when you push through.
You either get the result you wanted or a story that makes you stronger. Both mean you win.
